Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP)
Through the NTT Innovation Alliance, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and NTT have established a robust collaboration platform to identify, develop and scale innovative solutions that address industry needs. HKSTP serves as the cornerstone strategic partner, providing access to a curated network of technology innovators and facilitating meaningful connections between NTT's enterprise technology teams and Hong Kong’s most promising startups.
City University of Hong Kong (CityU)
NTT's two-phase project with City University of Hong Kong (CityU) explores the potential of edge AI solutions and Private 5G (P5G) connectivity for smart city applications, including AI-powered smart parking and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) deployment in Hong Kong.
Being the first service provider to receive the Localized Wireless Broadband System (Private) License from Hong Kong’s Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA), NTT and its innovation lab -- CROSS LAB Hong Kong, the first-of-its-kind P5G environment, provides the perfect proving ground for the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to refine its smart city vision
The initiative demonstrates the power of combining AI and P5G, paving the way for rapid commercialisation and accelerated smart city development in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
As one of the strategic partners of The PolyU International Future Challenge, NTT and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will drive collaborations within the innovation ecosystem, leveraging strong industry backgrounds and expertise to facilitate technology advancement, ultimately creating meaningful societal impact in our community.
The PolyU International Future Challenge is a flagship Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) competition that integrates education, incubation, research translation, project landing and investment. Participating teams will compete for attractive prizes by developing demand-driven solutions to real industry problems, with professional advice from strategic partners.
