At EXPO2025 Osaka, Kansai, NTT will showcase innovative use cases of its IOWN (Innovative Optical and Wireless Network) technology. Experience cutting-edge solutions aimed at creating a sustainable society and explore a new world where digital and analog seamlessly blend.

Pickup Features:

One World, One Planet – A spectacular show of light and sound blending digital and physical elements. IOWN will synchronize LED CUBE, wall projection mapping, and NTT Pavilion signage.

CHO-KABUKI Powered by IOWN – An international Kabuki performance synchronized between Japan and Taiwan using IOWN technology.

10,000 Freude – Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 performed by a choir of 10,000. IOWN will transmit audio and video to enable remote production.

Remote Operation of Agricultural MachineryAgricultural machinery at Hokkaido University’s farm will be remotely operated from the Expo venue without delay.

“The Touch of Life” – a future communication technology utilizing IOWN to enable people in remote locations to share tactile sensations in real-time.
